How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed Monday–Friday within 1–2 business days. Standard UK delivery typically takes 2–4 business days from dispatch. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is on its way.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is simple, flexible, and great value. UK shipping starts from just £3.99, and with multiple delivery options at checkout — including Evri ParcelShop collection points so there's no need to wait in — you can choose what works best for you. Costs are calculated at checkout based on your order size.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only. If you'd like to enquire about international delivery, please email us at info@lava-lite.co.uk and we'll do our best to help.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to make changes, please contact us immediately at info@lava-lite.co.uk. We can only make amendments before your order has been dispatched.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day returns policy. If you're not happy with your purchase, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order at info@lava-lite.co.uk to begin the process. Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging with proof of purchase.

Who pays for return postage?

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return postage costs. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover the return cost — just get in touch and we'll sort it.

How long do refunds take?

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a little longer to process it on their end.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes. Return the original item first, and once accepted, simply place a new order for the item you'd like instead.

What are LAVA-LITE products made from?

All LAVA-LITE products are made from 100% natural volcanic rock — sustainably sourced, peat-free, and kind to the environment. No synthetic additives or chemicals.

Are your products safe for children and pets?

Yes — our products are made from natural volcanic rock and are non-toxic. As with any gardening product, we recommend keeping them out of reach of very young children and supervising pets around them.

How much product do I need?

Each product page includes usage guidance specific to that product. As a general rule, for potted plants we recommend replacing or mixing 20–30% of your existing compost with LAVA-LITE growing media. Check the individual product page for detailed instructions.

Can I use LAVA-LITE products for all types of plants?

We have products tailored to specific plant types — from orchids and cacti to lawns and ponds. Browse our range to find the right match for your plants. If you're unsure, get in touch and we'll point you in the right direction.

Are your products suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

Yes — many of our products work for both indoor and outdoor plants. Check the individual product description to confirm suitability.

Payments & Discounts

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay at checkout.

I have a discount code — where do I enter it?

You can enter your discount code at checkout in the "Discount code" field before completing your order. Codes cannot be applied after an order is placed.
